Privacy Policy

Badmintun World ("the game", "we") is a mobile badminton game. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code or link. If you choose Google sign-in, Google tells us your Google account email and basic profile. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple gives us a unique identifier and your email address, or a private relay address if you choose to hide your email. We store only what the game needs to identify your account.
- Profile: the display name and country you pick, and your character's look (clothes, hair, equipment).
- Game data: rank and rank points, match results and history (opponent name and country, score), wins and losses, missions, tickets and tournament entries, trophies, friends, likes, invitations, players you block and reports you file.
- Purchases: the coins, gems and cosmetic items you own. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never receive your card or payment details, only the purchase confirmation needed to deliver the item.
- Online matches: while you play online, your position and shots are sent to your opponent in real time. These messages are not stored.
- On your device: settings and progress are saved on the device. The game can schedule local notifications (for example a daily reward reminder) if you allow them.
- Technical data: like any online service, our hosting providers process your IP address and standard request logs to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
The game contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not sell your information.
2. How we use it
- to run the game: sign-in, saving your progress, matchmaking, friend rooms, tournaments and leaderboards;
- to deliver and verify purchases, and to restore them;
- to keep the game fair and safe: offensive-name filtering, blocking and reporting, and acting on cheating or abuse;
- to fix problems and answer your messages.
3. What other players can see
Your display name, country, character look, rank, trophies, likes and a summary of your recent matches can be seen by other players, for example on leaderboards and in your profile. Your email address is never shown to other players.
4. Who we share it with
We use these service providers to operate the game. They process data for us and only for that purpose:
- Supabase — database, sign-in, real-time messaging and server functions;
- Vercel — our website and purchase-verification service;
- RevenueCat — purchase reporting;
- Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple) and Google (Google Play, Google sign-in) — purchases and, if you choose it, sign-in.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the safety of players and the game.
5. How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time inside the game (Account page → Delete account). This permanently deletes your account and the game data linked to it from our servers; copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle. If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account also ends that sign-in at Apple. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their own policies.
6. Your choices and rights
You can change your name, country and look in the game, sign out, and delete your account. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Thailand's PDPA) you may also have the right to ask for access to, correction of or a copy of your data, to object to some processing, and to complain to your data-protection authority. Contact us and we will help.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS / WSS) and stored with access controls that let each player reach only their own account data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes we will also tell you in the game.
